Flooring and Concrete Laborer

Position Overview
Capital Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking motivated and dependable Flooring & Concrete Laborers to support commercial, industrial, military, and government construction projects throughout the United States.
This position supports a variety of flooring and concrete operations including Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) installation, floor demolition, concrete placement, concrete finishing, decorative concrete applications, epoxy flooring systems, site preparation, and general construction activities.
Successful candidates will work alongside experienced construction professionals while helping deliver high-quality flooring and concrete solutions for government and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with floor demolition, material removal, and site preparation.

Install and replace flooring materials including LVP, vinyl flooring, transition strips, and cove base.

Prepare concrete surfaces through grinding, cleaning, patching, and repair activities.

Assist with concrete formwork, reinforcement placement, pouring, finishing, and curing operations.

Support decorative concrete and epoxy flooring installations.

Load, unload, transport, and stage construction materials and equipment.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely.

Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Follow project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Support project teams in completing work safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Required Qualifications

Ability to perform physically demanding construction work.

Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
-
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
-
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.

Ability to pass federal background check

Ability to pass Drug Screening
Preferred Qualifications
-
Previous flooring, concrete, or general construction experience.

Experience installing LVP, vinyl flooring, transition strips, or cove base.

Experience with concrete placement, finishing, repair, or decorative concrete applications.

Experience with epoxy flooring systems.
-
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.

Valid Driver's License.

Experience working on military, federal, commercial, or industrial projects.
