Our Story
Capital Government Solutions LLC (CGS) is a government contracting firm delivering mission-ready construction, security, and workforce solutions to federal, state, and commercial clients.
Founded in 2022, CGS was built on a data-driven understanding of federal contracting inefficiencies. After conducting market analysis on government contract completion trends, it became clear that a significant number of contracts were going unfulfilled or underbid—highlighting a critical gap in execution capacity across multiple industries.
CGS was established to help bridge that gap by providing reliable, scalable, and compliant support services across infrastructure, staffing, and security operations.
Since its founding, CGS has supported federal, state, and commercial clients through subcontracted roles across construction, operational support, and workforce solutions. Today, CGS is focused on expanding into prime contracting while continuing to scale its capabilities in support of mission-critical operations.

Capital Government Solutions is led by Josiah S. Pope, a data science professional and operations-focused leader with experience spanning analytics, workforce management, and secure government environments.
Josiah most recently served as a Lead Construction Surveillance Technician (CST), overseeing security operations, personnel monitoring, and compliance within sensitive construction environments in accordance with ICD 705 standards.
His background includes financial analysis, business operations, and data-driven performance optimization, with experience working alongside executive leadership teams to improve efficiency, workforce output, and organizational performance.
With a foundation in data science and analytics, Josiah brings a unique perspective to government contracting—combining operational execution with strategic insight to identify opportunities, optimize performance, and deliver measurable results.
