Contract Administrator

Position Overview
Capital Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support our growing portfolio of federal government contracts.
The Contract Administrator will play a critical role in managing proposal submissions, contract documentation, compliance requirements, employee onboarding, subcontractor coordination, invoicing support, and contract performance tracking. This position serves as a key link between company leadership, government customers, employees, and subcontractors to ensure contracts are executed efficiently and in accordance with federal requirements.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in government contracting who enjoys managing multiple priorities, maintaining organized records, and supporting business growth in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain contract files and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

Support proposal development efforts, including document preparation, compliance reviews, and submission coordination.

Track contract deadlines, deliverables, modifications, option years, and reporting requirements.

Assist with employee onboarding, personnel records, certifications, and training documentation.

Coordinate subcontractor agreements, insurance documentation, and compliance requirements.

Support invoice preparation, labor tracking, and contract billing activities.

Monitor SAM.gov, agency procurement portals, and contract opportunities.

Maintain internal databases, spreadsheets, and contract tracking systems.

Coordinate with Program Managers, Contract Managers, and company leadership to support ongoing contract performance.

Assist with quality control, compliance reviews, and internal process improvements.

Support preparation of capability statements, past performance packages, and business development materials.
Required Qualifications

Experience supporting federal, state, or private contracts or projects, contract administration, or proposal development

Strong technical organizational and document management skills

Office Administration Skills
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat

Proficiency with Artificial Intelligence tools to maximize task effiency
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with FAR and federal contracting procedures

Experience using SAM.gov, PIEE/WAWF, FPDS, or related government systems

Knowledge of government invoicing and contract administration processes

Experience supporting small business federal contractors

Active security clearance

Associates degree or work experience in lieu of

Two (2) years office administration

Schedule
Primarily Monday–Friday during normal project working hours, with occasional weekend and travel support as required by project operations.
Compensation
Annual Salary - $70,000 + End of year performance bonus
